P7M standard police station soon to be erected in Rizal, Kalinga

Rizal, Kalinga – A seven million worth of standard municipal police station building will be erected soon in Liwan West, Rizal, following the project’s groundbreaking ceremony on July 27, 2022.

This new development is expected to boost people’s confidence in the safety and order within the municipality as well as expand police services to the people in the area.


The two-storey type B/C standard building will rise on the 400-square-meter lot donated by Rizal LGU, which is located within the Municipal Hall compound in Liwan West.


Police Captain Ruff Manganip narrated that through the help of Congressman Allen Jesse Mangaoang, the construction of the new police station in Rizal was funded by the Department of Public Works and Highways with P7,095,540.25.

According to Manganip, the construction of the new building was programmed to be built within 167 days. He added that the construction will begin after the soil-bearing test.


The Chief of Police further said that the old municipal police station which is a kilometer away from the new one will serve as the Women and Children Protection Desk office of PNP Rizal.


Among the police stations in Kalinga that have the B/C standard building include Tanudan, Balbalan, Pasil, Lubuagan, and Pinukpuk.
