Renewal of business permits in Tabuk extended until September 30

Tabuk City, Kalinga ─ Business owners in the city may still renew their permits without worrying to pay for penalties as the business permits renewal extended until September 30, 2021.

This is pursuant to Resolution No. 18 Series of 2020 of the Sangguniang Panlungsod of the city Extending the Business Activities and Business Permit Renewal from January 1, 2021 to May 31, 2021.

With the transmitted letter from the City Business Permits and Licensing office through Pierre Galicia, Councilor Castor Cayaba moved for the approval of extending the renewal of business permits for another 4 months during their regular session today, June 03, at Las Vegas Hotel.

Presided by Vice Mayor Bernard Glenn Dao-as, members of the Sangguniang Panlungsod granted said request for extension.

The letter pointed out that another extension has been requested, since a number of registered business owners in the city are yet to renew their business permit/ mayor’s permit to avoid penalties and surcharges they may incur.

SP members then assured that the business owners shall only pay for the fees intended for the renewal of their business permits. Thus, the extension will provide them more time and exclude them from the penalties.

Payments for business permits are accepted at the Business Permits and Licensing Office at the Tabuk gymnasium at the city hall compound.
