Tanudan to build P7.3-M fire station

Tanudan, Kalinga - A new fire station is set to rise in Tanudan with the successful signing of a ‘deed of lot donation’ between the local government and the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP), setting the pace for the establishment of said edifice.


BFP-CAR Regional Director SR SUPT Leonida Gumanab – Rosales, MM, Kalinga Provincial Fire Director SUPT Allan M Eballar, Tabuk City Fire Director SINSP Ronald Rivera, Vice Mayor Joseph Cosidon and Mayor Jaedicke Rhoss Dagadag personally attended the signing held on April 9 at Barangay Banagao.


As recalled, on August 5, 2019, then Tanudan Fire Prevention Officer FO1 Eleazar A Soga-ang informed Mayor Jaedicke Dagadag on their plans to upgrade the safety and emergency response of the town with the establishment of a fire station.



The mayor positively responded and supported the plan which the former Tabuk City Fire Marshal SINSP Glenn B. Pang-et presented and proposed to the members of Sangguniang Bayan on January 22, 2020 for their endorsement.


Through a Sangguniang Bayan resolution, the deed of lot donation was drafted and signed by the local officials on February 17, 2020.


Unfortunately, the process of the lot donation to the regional office was delayed due to the CoViD-19 pandemic.

Then on November 23, 2020, Tanudan Fire Prevention Officer FO1 Eleazar Soga-ang under the supervision and authority of Tabuk City Fire Director SINSP Ronald P Rivera followed up the application completing all the necessary documents that concluded with the completion of requirements gaining the approval of the Mines and Geosciences Bureau on December 20, 2020.


With the signing of a deed of lot donation BFP-CAR Regional Director SR SUPT LEONIDA GUMANAB- ROSALES, MM, the Tanudan fire station has completed it process for the release of its P7.3 million fund for the structure to be constructed soon.
