Pasil, Kalinga – The satellite training center of Technical Education and Skills Development Authority-Kalinga in Pasil will start operation in March, said Councilor Ronnie Bawalan, the proponent of the center’s establishment in the municipality.

According to Bawalan, this is what was agreed upon by the personnel of TESDA-Kalinga and the municipal local government unit headed by Mayor Alfredo ‘Chao-ig’ Malannag Jr. during their meeting on Tuesday, February 22, 2022.

Provincial Training Center Administrator Engr. Artemio Jose Jr. and his staff went to visit their satellite office provided by the municipal government at the Evacuation Center compound in Tucol, Pasil on the said day.

Malannag said he is delighted with the establishment of the training center as this will be a big help for the skill development of the community. With the accessibility of the training center, residents will be able to save money and time from having to travel to Tabuk City for training services.

“Nu kayat tayo nga mas napaspas maka-avail tayo ti serbisyo ti gobyerno, we have to work with the agencies. Nu maiyaramid tayo daytoy, dakkel nga tulong para iti kakailyan tayo, nagruna kadagiti agkailangan ti training ta saanen masapul nga agbiyahe da mapan Tabuk.

God bless our municipality!”, stated the mayor through his official Facebook page.
