2 Drug personalities in Tabuk evade getting arrested during search warrant

Tabuk City, Kalinga – Fifteen pieces of small sachets containing suspected shabu were recovered by the operatives from the house of two High Value Individuals after implementation of search warrant this November 20 at Bakras, Purok 7, Bulanao.


According to Kapulisan Ng Kalinga, the search warrant was intended for a certain Chad Lugay Dimara who was on probation and Regina Romano. Both are at large.


The suspects were not present in the search but the operation was witnessed by representatives from the Department of Justice, media, barangay officials, and the step father of Dimara.


Other items seized include 24 pieces live ammo of caliber 40; 5 pieces ammo of caliber 45; and 16 pieces for caliber 9 mm. Seven pieces of used aluminum foil were also recovered during the search.


Moreover, the estimated weight of the confiscated illegal drugs is at least 0.5 gram with an estimated street value of P3,400.

On the other hand, 14 kilograms of Marijuana bricks with an estimated worth P 1,680,000 were confiscated by the operatives in Ambuklao, Bokod, Benguet on morning of November 19.


In a Facebook post by the Philippine National Police – Cordillera, a Barangay Tanod informed the Bokod Municipal Police Station about an abandoned contraband in a passenger van coming from Tabuk City.


In an investigation, the driver conducted a routine inspection of baggage when he noticed a suspicious box without marking. This prompted him to check the box which led to the discovery of the Marijuana bricks.


“Rigorous checkpoints in all provincial entrance and exit were being conducted to deter unscrupulous individuals from using the province as gateway in transporting illegal drugs. Also, Narcotic Detection Dogs (NDD) were being utilized in the random conduct of checkpoint to deter the entrance of illegal drugs in the province,” the post reads.
