2 new teachers from Isabela topped the March 2024 LET

Isabela, Philippines – Two teacher graduates from Isabela have additional reason to celebrate as they made it to the national list of top 10 examinees in the March 2024 Licensure Examination for Teachers (LET).


After 47 working days, the Professional Regulation Commission released this May 24 the results including the top performing examinees.


In the list under the elementary level, Charlyne Mae Yanos Gabriel who is from San Mateo, Isabela and a graduate of the Philippine Normal University – North Luzon Campus secured the top 6 spot with 91.40% rating.


Her fellow Isabeleño, Giselle Ramiscal Banta, who is from Angadanan and a graduate of Isabela State University - Echague Campus, also made it to the top 10. This is after she got an overall rating of 90.60%.


Apart from these two new licensed teachers, the Philippine Normal University – North Luzon in Isabela was named top 2 performing in the March 2024 LET.

According to the PRC, said institution delivered a 98.68% passing rate or 149 out of its 151 graduates who took the exam passed.


Out of the 130,744 who attempted to get their teaching license on March 17,2024, 71,429 (20,890 for elementary and 50,539 secondary) are set to take their oath as licensed professional teachers.
