22-year-old lost motorcycle after a sleepover at girlfriend’s place in Tuguegarao

Cagayan, Philippines – A 22-year-old man reportedly lost his motorcycle to carnappers after he slept over at his girlfriend’s place in Tuguegarao City to help her with her school requirement recently.

Cagayan Provincial Information Office reported on November 14, 2022, that a 22-year-old resident of Cepeda Street, Cataggaman Nuevo in Tuguegarao parked his motorcycle described to be a black scooter near the place where his girlfriend is staying past midnight.

The victim, who was hidden under the name of John, told authorities that he went to his girlfriend’s place to help her with her thesis, which was why he had to stay the night.

The next morning, however, his motorcycle was no longer at the place where he parked it. When he could no longer find his motorcycle in the area, the victim was prompted to report the incident to the police.

The police immediately checked the CCTV footage and found that three still unidentified men took away the said motorcycle, escaping towards Barangay Buntun and exiting Tuguegarao City.
