26 yKalingas pass 2023 Bar Exams

Tabuk City, Kalinga – At least 26 yKalingas hurdled the 2023 Bar examination to become new lawyers.


A total of 3,812, or 36.77 percent, of the 10,387 examinees nationwide passed the third digitalized examination conducted on September 17, 20, and 24 in 14 testing centers.


The passing rate this year was much lower compared to 43.47 percent last year.


In Kalinga, over 30 hopefuls emerged successful in the 2022 examination. This year, 26 made it to the list of passers.

Successful examinees are Shyrha Klien Alindayo, Lyka Balinte Asbucan, Lizel Banganan, Cora Bangngayon, Diokno Bentican, Jonathan Codiam, Daisy Dasayon, Apolinario Eboy, Via Rhidda Imperial, Danzel Langkit, Rosemarie Malagueña, and Novie Matnao-Baculi.


Additions to the list are Jaymee Os-ag, Fritzie Puctiyao, Princess Mae Solbita, Jollin Lyka Dalanao, Farah Jane Diwayan-Abayon, Alona Faith Edas, Mark Anthony Tungpalan, Lester Tegui-in, Kathleen Gayaman, Orville Guiquing, Bimbo Luis, Desiree Dela Cruz Garcia-Dinulong, Kyrie Leonelyn Cortes Diwag, Jaydison Aniwer.


The provincial government led by Governor James Edduba congratulated the new batch of passers who will soon join the officers of court.


The successful 2023 Bar examinees will take their oath and sign the roll on December 22 at the SMX Convention Center Manila, Seashell Lane in Pasay City.


Earlier, Bar Committee Chair and Supreme Court Associate Justice Ramon Paul Hernando said that they aimed for an early release of results so the passers could start their practice immediately after the holidays.
