3 dead, 3 injured after SUV fell into ravine in Tuba, Benguet

Tuba, Benguet - Three individuals died, while three others were injured after a sports utility vehicle fell into a ravine in Tuba, Benguet on Friday, April 19, 2024.

 

The casualties were identified as Ian Marcuap,  Jaspher Marcuap, and Rodolfo Marcuap.

 

The injured individuals, meantime, were identified as Kristel Marcuap, Kieffer Marcuap, and Kieffer Marcuap.

 

They are all residents of Candelaria, Quezon and they were heading to Baguio City when they met the tragic accident.

 

Initial reports from the police disclosed that the car fell off into a 100-meter-deep ravine at around 4 a.m. on said day along Sitio Begis, Taloy Sur, Tuba.

 

At present, Tuba police are still conducting investigations to identify the cause of the accident. The bodies of the casualties were already taken to their home for proper disposition.

 

The rescue operation was conducted by the personnel of the Bureau of Fire Protection - Tuba; Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office - Tuba; 911; Bureau of Fire Protection -Baguio City and Tuba Municipal Police Station.
