TAGA, Pinukpuk, Kalinga – Mayor Jimmy B. Dasayon reaffirmed his commitment to transparent governance, responsive public service, and inclusive development as Pinukpuk celebrated its 63rd Founding Anniversary on June 25, calling on residents to continue working together toward a more progressive and united municipality.

Speaking before local officials, employees, and residents during the anniversary program at the Municipal Gymnasium in Barangay Taga, Dasayon outlined his administration's priorities, emphasizing improvements in public services, agricultural development, infrastructure, and programs that create more opportunities for every iPinukpuk.

“As your municipal mayor, I reaffirm my commitment to transparent and responsive governance, improving public services, strengthening agricultural development, enhancing infrastructure, and creating programs that create great opportunities for every Pinukpuk,” stated Dasayon.

The mayor stressed that while the municipality continues to experience physical and economic growth, genuine progress should ultimately be measured by how it improves the lives of every resident and strengthens local communities.

He likewise underscored the importance of balancing development with the preservation of Pinukpuk's cultural heritage, environmental protection, and sustainable growth.

“Let us continue to preserve our rich cultural heritage, protect our environment, strengthen our communities, and strive for inclusive and sustainable development. Together, let us build a municipality that is not only progressive and prosperous but also compassionate, resilient, and united,” he added.

Reflecting on Pinukpuk's 63-year journey, Dasayon paid tribute to the generations of leaders and residents whose dedication helped transform the municipality into one of Kalinga's progressive communities.

He said the municipality's roads, schools, public facilities, agricultural advancements, and expanding opportunities stand as lasting symbols of the perseverance and collective efforts of the people of Pinukpuk.

"...We gathered not only to commemorate another milestone and history but also to honor the wonderful journey of our municipality and the people who made it possible. What was once a young municipality has grown into a thriving and dynamic community. Our roads, schools, public facilities, agricultural advances, and expanding opportunities stand as visible symbols of the hard work and determination of generations of Pinukpuk,” he further said.

The mayor concluded by encouraging every iPinukpuk to continue embracing the unity and cooperation that have shaped the municipality's success over the past six decades, emphasizing that every milestone achieved was made possible through collective effort.

“Together, let us build a municipality that is not only progressive and prosperous but also compassionate, resilient, and united,” he concluded.
