TABUK CITY, Kalinga — Around 300 aspiring cadets from Kalinga took the Philippine National Police Academy Cadet Admission Test (PNPACAT) on October 25 at Kalinga State University (KSU), as Governor James S. Edduba expressed support for young iKalingas seeking to serve the country through the uniformed services.

The examination was conducted simultaneously at testing centers nationwide, with approximately 18,000 applicants taking the test across the country as of the initial report.

Edduba wished the examinees good luck and reaffirmed his support for the aspirations of young iKalingas who want to join the uniformed services and dedicate themselves to public service.

The examination in Tabuk City was facilitated by cadets from SANDIKHAIN Class of 2027, SANDIRANGAN Class of 2028 and SIDLAK-DAYAW Class of 2029, together with PNPA officials.

The activity was supported by the Office of the Provincial Governor and KSU to help local applicants pursue their goal of entering the academy without having to travel to testing centers outside the province.

The PNPACAT is the initial qualifying examination for applicants seeking admission to the PNPA, where cadets undergo academic and professional training to prepare them for leadership and service in the Philippine National Police.

As of this writing, the PNPA has not announced an official date for the release of the October 25 examination results. Applicants are advised to monitor the academy’s official website at www.pnpa.edu.ph and its official social media channels for updates.

Those who qualify will proceed to the next stages of the admission process, subject to the academy’s requirements and screening procedures.
