37-yr.-old man accused of molesting woman in Tabuk City

Tabuk City, Kalinga – A 37-year-old man accused of sexually molesting a woman landed in jail after he was arrested on January 17, 2023, in Barangay Dilag.

The suspect was taken to the custody of Tabuk City police after his arrest warrant for Acts of Lasciviousness was served by the operatives this Tuesday around 11:40 in the morning.

According to the police, the molesting incident happened on January 8, 2022, at around 2:35 a.m. Back then, the victim was sleeping with her son when the suspect came and kissed her on the lips.

The accused didn’t stop there and allegedly attempted to take the victim’s pants off. The woman, however, was able to kick him and run to her husband for help.

On January 11, 2023, the 37-year-old’s warrant of arrest was issued. For his temporary freedom, the suspect can post bail of P36,000.
