Tabuk City, Kalinga – Defending champion Agbannawag National High School (ANHS) once again won another title in the Secondary Drum and Lyre Competition held on February 13 at the Kalinga Sports Complex in Bulanao—successfully retaining the crown it snatched in last year’s contest.

The field performance competition has long been one of the main highlights of the month-long festivities in the province, transforming musical pieces into vibrant showcases of rhythm, choreography, and precision.

This year’s edition gathered six secondary schools from across Kalinga—each delivering synchronized routines, colorful formations, and powerful musical arrangements that energized the crowd. While every participating school presented a remarkable performance marked by creativity and precision, ANHS stood out, securing the top overall score along with a cash prize of P120,000.
