“Under the Tulong Panghanapbuhay sa Ating Disadvantaged Workers (TUPAD) Program, we provided a total of P6,622,813 to 716 beneficiaries. Yung payout na-conducted last month lang,” Manganip said.

TUPAD provides temporary employment to disadvantaged and displaced workers through community-based projects, allowing beneficiaries to earn wages while performing locally identified work activities.

The latest assistance brings the combined reach of DOLE-Kalinga’s livelihood and emergency employment programs to 863 beneficiaries, with more than P9.7 million distributed to support income generation and provide temporary employment opportunities.
