Sagada’s Blessing Dula wins Miss Teen Planet-Asia 2026 in Brazil

SAGADA, Mountain Province — Sagada’s Blessing P. Dula brought home an international crown after being named Miss Teen Planet-Asia 2026 during the grand coronation of Miss Teen Planet International 2026 in Curitiba, Brazil on Friday morning, October 9, Philippine time.

Dula, 18, finished as overall second runner-up in the international pageant and also won the Miss Popularity (People’s Choice) and Best in Interview awards.

The victory marks Dula’s first intercontinental crown and adds to her growing list of pageant achievements.

The daughter of Sagada Mayor Felicito Dula and Jocelyn Dula, Blessing began her pageant journey at age nine after her mother encouraged her to join Little Miss Sagada, where she finished first runner-up.

She later won the Miss Sagada title in 2023 before advancing to the national stage.

In Miss Teen Philippines 2026, Dula was named Miss Teen Tourism Philippines and also received the Audience Choice Award, Best in Social Media and Miss Alta Skin Aesthetics awards.

Her latest victory in Brazil brings her journey to the international stage, where she represented not only Sagada but also the Igorot community.

Despite her achievements, Dula has acknowledged experiencing self-doubt throughout her journey. She chose to continue pursuing opportunities, drawing encouragement from her family, supporters and fellow Igorots.

Following her victory, Dula expressed gratitude to those who supported her campaign and asked for continued support as she takes on her new title.

She also hopes her journey will inspire fellow kakailyans, particularly young people, to pursue their own aspirations.

Her message to the youth is simple: “Be a risk-taker, grab every opportunity, and chase your dreams.”
