BM Amla meets RD Domogen, urges Kalinga professionals to renew licenses as PRC brings service closer this Sept. 17-18

TABUK CITY, Kalinga — Board Member Julius B. Amla expressed appreciation to the Professional Regulation Commission-Cordillera Administrative Region (PRC-CAR) for bringing its license renewal service closer to professionals in Kalinga, saying the initiative makes it easier for them to renew their licenses without having to travel far.

The PRC, headed by Regional Director Juanita L. Domogen, is conducting the renewal service from Thursday, September 17, to Friday, September 18, at Capitol Hills, Bulanao, Tabuk City, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The service is open to PRC-licensed professionals in Kalinga and nearby areas whose licenses are due for renewal.

Professionals are advised to secure an appointment through the PRC online portal before proceeding to the venue.

In an interview with Guru Press Cordillera, Amla said having the PRC renewal service conducted in the province makes the process more convenient for iKalinga professionals because they can complete an important licensing requirement closer to where they live and work.

He said the service can also help reduce the time and transportation expenses professionals may incur when traveling outside Kalinga for license renewal.

He explained that government services become more helpful to communities when people can access them without having to travel far, particularly for transactions that can be conducted within the province.

Amla urged professionals in the province whose licenses are due for renewal to take advantage of the service and share the information with fellow licensed workers who may also need to process their renewals.

He also expressed hope that more similar services can be brought closer to the province, particularly transactions that can be made available locally through coordination with national government agencies.
