Tabuk City, Kalinga – Instead of holding a big, fancy celebration, the Kalinga Provincial Hospital (KPH) will mark the Christmas season by bringing smiles to patients and underprivileged individuals through a gift-giving activity this December 2025.

The initiative is part of a proposed program dubbed “Pinaglumaan Man, Pero sa Kapwa’y May Maihahatid na Kasiyahan,” which will be launched in December.

According to OIC–Chief of Hospital Dr. Rey Aranca, the program aims to distribute gifts to beneficiaries during the KPH Christmas Party this December and during other medical missions the hospital will conduct in the future. The exact dates for the launch and succeeding activities have yet to be announced.

To make the program possible, Aranca shared that the hospital opened a donation box on November 21 for anyone wishing to donate pre-loved clothes, kitchenware, toys, and other usable items. The box will remain open until December, and donors are also welcome to contribute new items if they wish.

“This is an appeal to our co-employees and those with good hearts to donate slightly used clothes, kitchenware, toys, and other usable items. You may also donate newly purchased items,” he said.

Interested donors may bring their items and place them in the donation box located at the Office of the Chief of Hospital on the second floor of the KPH building. They may also coordinate through the number 09996138625.

“May God bless us all. Maraming maraming salamat po,” Aranca expressed.
