The office reminded that when pets are scheduled for any of the procedures, owners should ensure that their pets have undergone fasting.

For spay procedures, a blood test proving that it has no disease related to blood is needed.

It is likewise required that the pets should be on leash or confined in a cage when owners decide to participate in the activity.

According to experts, dogs and cats have a better chance to live longer when spayed or neutered.

Said procedure is also essential in decreasing the population of stray animals roaming around the roads, causing accidents at times.

Apart from said activities, a dog walk shall also be held from 6:30 a.m. to 7:30 a.m. on same date. A dog show shall also transpire at 3 p.m.
