Tabuk City, Kalinga - Governor James Edduba was recognized as the second top-performing governor in the Cordillera Region according to a non-commissioned survey conducted by Hypothesis Philippines, covering all governors in the region.

Edduba, while trailing behind Governor Melchor Diclas of Benguet, who secured the top spot with a slight margin of 0.3 percent, still garnered an impressive 93.4 percent of the vote, compared to Diclas's 93.7 percent.

In third place is Governor Dominic Valera of Abra, who achieved a commendable job performance rating of 92.8 percent.

Hypothesis Philippines, as per their Facebook page, is a market research and strategy firm that aims to amplify the voice of Filipinos through research and surveys.

Their survey in the Cordillera region, named ‘Pulso ng Bayan’, was conducted from December 17 to 30 of the previous year, with the results published on January 31.

The respondents, totaling 10,000 individuals, were registered voters in the Cordilleras. The sampling margin of error stands at +1/-1 percent, with a 95% confidence level.

The respondents were randomly selected, and the distribution across each province was proportionate to the voting population data.
