Tabuk City, Kalinga – In a statement released, Governor Ferdinand Tubban congratulates the winner of the gubernatorial race in Kalinga, James Edduba.
Tubban lost with 56,019 votes against Edduba’s 60,070. Conrado Dieza got 12,899 votes.
“To my fellow candidates in the gubernatorial race, Mr James Edduba and Mr. Conrado Dieza, we have fought a good fight. But as it is, there always is one winner, and I congratulate James for being the majority's choice. We Pray that the Lord guide you as you fulfill your purpose as the man to lead our beloved province to the next level,” reads part of the statement.
Tubban likewise thanked the people who were with him during the campaign, admiring their sincerity and telling them he and his family shall be forever grateful to them.
Tubban served as a three term Mayor of Tabuk City before serving as a governor from 2019-2022.
