Kalinga Treasure’s Fair 2024 to showcase local ingenuity and culture

Tabuk City, Kalinga - In collaboration with the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Kalinga, the Provincial government of Kalinga prepares for Kalinga Treasure’s Fair, a highlight of the l29th Kalinga Founding Anniversary and 5th Bodong Festival.

 

The Kalinga Treasure’s Fair 2023 witnessed a staggering P17,161,609 in sales, a remarkable 462% surge from the P3,053,952 recorded in 2022.

 

Treasure’s Fair 2024

 

Running from February 5-17 this year, along MSA Boulevard, National Highway, Bulanao, Tabuk City, the fair will spotlight a diverse array of local products including wearables, fashion accessories, coffee, cacao, furniture, handicrafts, processed fruits, nuts, and more.

 

With 46 tents set up, buyers can explore locally-produced goods such as processed fruits, coffee, processed foods, ornamental plants, baskets, Kalinga garments, chairs, tables, and carved artworks.

 

To ensure a safe and secure environment, the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) will provide nighttime security, while the Public Order and Safety Office (POSO) and the Philippine National Police (PNP) will manage daytime crowd control.

 

As the Kalinga Treasure’s Fair 2024 promises an enriching blend of culture, commerce, and community, locals and visitors alike can anticipate a memorable experience celebrating the vibrant treasures of Kalinga.
