LGU Tanudan to returning residents: “No special consideration for holidays”

Tanudan, Kalinga―With the holidays fast approaching, Local Government Unit of Tanudan reminds all incoming Returning Residents (RRs)/ Returning Overseas Filipinos (ROFs) to adhere to the set guidelines against COVID-19 as there are no special consideration even for the holidays.


Municipal Health Officer Doctor Sandra Valledor reiterated in an interview that the same health protocol shall be applied to those who wish to come home for the Christmas break.


“Reminder to all, walang bakasyon ang virus, kaya tuloy tuloy pa rin ang COVID-19 response of the LGU, let's celebrate Christmas and New year COVID-19 free by adhering to the guidelines set by the government. These holidays, may we all spread love, not the virus,” she said.


The Municipal Health Office shall be on call from December 23-27, 2020. For those arriving on those dates, they shall be sent to their barangay isolation unit and have to wait for December 28 for swab collection. Likewise, to those arriving from December 29-January 03, they shall be sent to their barangay isolation unit and wait for swabbing on January 04.

Meanwhile, Mayor Jaedicke Dagadag is asking those individuals who wish to come home to Tanudan to extend their patience and understanding as their office continues to work for the safety of every constituent in the municipality.


“Kadagidiay kailyan nga kayat da agawid, agawid da latta basta magna da latta met ti protocol nga maquarantine, maswab, ken iyuray da swab result da. Idawat ko nga dumngeg da ti health workers tayu, iyanus da ta kasta ta talaga gangay ta ada garud pandemic tapno naragsak nga icelebrar tayo daytoy nga holiday kadwa ti pampamilya tayo,” he expressed.
