Medical and burial assistance made available to yKalingas


Tabuk City, Kalinga – To help ease the burden of Kalinga people in buying their medicines, settling hospital bills, and burying their deceased loved ones, the Office Vice President Sara Duterte, in partnership with Mayor Jaedicke Rhoss Dagadag, has provided assistance to yKalingas.

 

Jomar Durdal, Executive Assistant to Mayor Dagadag, relayed there is medical and burial assistance that the constituents in the province could avail.

 

The people eligible for the grant are those taking maintenance for high blood, heart disease, and other health conditions; those who were hospitalized; and also those who have lost a loved one.

 

Durdal added that the burial assistance is P5,000, while the medical assistance will cover P5,000 worth of medicine to be retrieved from the AR pharmacy and P10,000 for medical bills if admitted at the Holy Trinity Hospital.

 

To avail of the P5,000 medical grant, the patient should submit a doctor’s prescription, medical certificate, case study which is available at the Office of Tabuk Councilor Mark Rainier Duguiang, and identification card; and for the P10,000 assistance, one is required to pass a copy of hospital bill, medical abstract, and bill case study.

 

For the burial assistance, the grantee should submit a death certificate, ID, and case study.
