‘No major problems; People generally behaved on first day of ECQ’ - Kalinga Police

Tabuk City, Kalinga – In the assessment of the Kalinga Police regarding their implementation of checkpoints and control of movements, Kalinga Police Provincial Director PCol. Davy Vicente Limmong said the people of Tabuk City were observed to have behaved on the first day of the 14-day Enhanced Community Quarantine.

However, he added, the police and the barangay officials had to guide some of the people who were not aware of the guidelines.

Limmong further said that they did not identify major problems, however, there were some concerns on the delivery of goods on the first day. Since Tabuk City is under ECQ, travel authorization is required and those who come to deliver goods should just drop and go.

He added that while those who deliver goods are unrestricted, they still should present their company ID and necessary documents.

With this, they were not allowed entry that was why concerned individuals went to get the orders from the delivery personnel.

Meantime, cargos are allowed entry but those delivering products to sell were not allowed.

“So haan da nga pinayagan considering nga although basic needs diyay ngem diay garud kayat na kuma drop and go, haan nga mabalin diyay kasla agilako da nga tingi tingi. To avoid diyay garud contact,” he said,

Regarding the enforcement of the minimum health protocols, Limmong said that tickets and penalties are issued to violators.
