Overseas and domestic jobs up for grab this Labor Day in Kalinga

Tabuk City, Kalinga – Hundreds of jobs are up for grabs this May 1 in celebration of Labor Day, a day dedicated to diligent and industrious workers.

 

The job fair shall transpire at the Kalinga Sports Center (Gym), Provincial Capitol Compound, Bulanao, Tabuk City, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on said date.

 

On said day dedicated to employment seekers, various jobs (domestic and overseas) shall be offered.

 

Initially, there are eight participating companies, but lists will be updated as the event draws near.

 

As of April 26, jobs available are in the banking and finance sectors, construction companies, food service, and medical sectors.

 

Offering jobs overseas are Automatechs Manpower Solutions, Incorporated, and EEI Corporation. These companies seek for skilled laborers and healthcare professionals.


As for domestic ones, employee-seekers include Bangko Montañosa Incorporated, Allianz PNB Life Insurance, Cordillera Community Microfinance Incorporated, Jollibee, Chowking, and Mang Inasal.

 

Apart from the job fair, three other events are also set on said day, such as the Kadiwa ng Pangulo which offers discounted agricultural products and other commodities; the awarding of livelihoods to beneficiaries of the DOLE Integrated Livelihood Program; and the pay-out of those who benefited from the “Tulong Panghanapbuhay sa Ating Disadvantaged/Displaced Workers” (TUPAD) program.
