P.3M ‘negosyo kits’ awarded to 40 Pasil MSMEs


Pasil, Kalinga – Forty Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) from the barangays of Pasil, Kalinga received on April 27 a total of P320,000 worth livelihood seeding kits from the Department of Trade and Industry -Kalinga under its Pangkabuhayan sa Pagbangon at Ginhawa - Livelihood Seeding Program (PPG-LSP).


Renie Ramos, Provincial Director of DTI – Kalinga, earlier explained that the PPG-LSP of the government aims to assist the recovery of micro-enterprises affected by fire incidents, COVID-19 pandemic, and other calamities.

Each of the 40 recipients was given P8,000 worth of goods such as canned foods and instant noodles that they can use for their sari-sari store or other trading shops. The goods they got were in accordance with their request.


According to Josephine Daliyong, Officer-in-Charge of the department’s SME Development Division, they coordinated with the barangay captains.


The local officials recommended prospect MSME-beneficiaries and DTI-Kalinga verified the business existence.

Daliyong asked the beneficiaries to make use of the assistance given as intended for their business to flourish.


The department will be monitoring the business growth of those given livelihood kits.
