PLGU Kalinga says 40-bed capacity TTMF to be constructed

Tabuk City, Kalinga – Out of the P10 million DOH-funded 20 units collapsible container vans, the province will soon have a 40-bed capacity Temporary Treatment and Monitoring Facility, according to PLGU Kalinga on Tuesday, January 26,2021.


Said TTMF shall be built at the Kalinga Provincial Hospital (KPH) compound.


In a radio program of PLGU Kalinga, “Isangguni sa ating Gobernador”, a staff of the Provincial Engineering Office said the container vans were already provided with comfort rooms, and other basic necessities to be used by individuals who will be utilizing said TTMF.


“Collapsible dagituy ma’am, refabricated mismo, direct from the supplier dagitoy contractors tayo ket dagiti ammenities na or facilities nga kasama idiay, inprovide dan iti CR, dagituy toilet and bath da, ken dagidiay mismo basic nga kausaran dagiti agyan,” he said.


The PEO personnel said water source is available in the area saying, “Kinita mi, vinalidate mi onsite ket adda mabalin nga pagalaan tayu iti water source na.” Apart from this, an additional 9-million worth five-room isolation unit shall be constructed within KPH. Said project is also funded by DOH.


Additionally, PLGU is working on the completion of the ground floor of the Kalinga Children’s Ward and Wellness Center building wherein half of it will be used as site for the 5 million DOH-funded diagnostic center.


According to PLGU Kalinga, said plans were crafted for this year as the provincial government aims to continue strenghtening its health sector.
