Tanudan convenes with CAR-Regional Advisory Council for policy directions

Tanudan, Kalinga – The Municipality of Tanudan headed by Mayor Jaedicke Rhoss Dagadag recently welcomed in town the regional chiefs of national line agencies in the Cordillera.

These regional directors compose the Regional Advisory Council which aims to provide policy directions and recommendations on program implementations of the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program(4Ps).

On May 29, 2024, the Tanudan government received the council and hosted their convention at the open gymnasium in Banagao, Poblacion where the different offices presented accomplishments, updates on program implementations, and key concerns.

Among the matters raised during the meeting was the need for a barangay ordinance to convert Day Care Centers to Child Development Centers.

The following day, RAC members proceeded to Barangays Lubo and Ga-ang to monitor the 4Ps recipients to ensure that the program is being implemented in line with its objectives.

Areas the council also visited and assessed include the Tanudan National High School, Lubo Elementary School, Lubo Day Care Center, and the health facility of three adjacent barangays of Lubo.

The RAC members wrapped up their field visit with their recommendations.
