Tanudan, Kalinga – The launching of Tawang Falls in Cabugao, Pangol through the ‘Tanudan Run’ 2025 will push through after being rescheduled to December 20 due to the effects of Super Typhoon Uwan in late November.

The event, which was originally scheduled for November 22, 2025, was put on hold following the destructive aftermath of Uwan in Tanudan.

The Tanudan Municipal Tourism Office earlier explained that while event logistics were prepared, several areas in the town needed time to recover from the effects of the weather disturbance, and personnel involved in the event had been mobilized for response and management operations.

Now that Tanudan is recovering, the much-anticipated event will take place on December 20 (Saturday), where the beauty and serenity of Tawang Falls in Cabugao and the scenic trails in Lower Tanudan await participants.

The Tanudan Run will comprise three categories – 21 KM, 12 KM, and 6 KM – covering the picturesque trails of Pagugo, Bawac, Darulog, Ammaboy, Magtoma, Baccong, Liyang, and Sitio Cabugao, Pangol.

Those who still wish to join the event may register through this link: https://bit.ly/tanudanrun2025. Proceeds from the event will be used to fund the construction of comfort rooms at Tawang Falls.

Mayor Jaedicke Rhoss Dagadag invites running and nature enthusiasts to revel in the scenery of Lower Tanudan and Tawang Falls, saying, “Maawis iti amin nga maki-attend ditoy Tanudan Run ken daytoy official launching iti barbaru nga turismo tayo ditoy munisipyo iti Tanudan. Makita yu daytoy nadalus nga danum iti river tayo ken daytoy napintas nga view iti Lower Tanudan.”
