Tinglayan VM Malasi says Sangguniang Bayan fully supports Abay’s commitment to transparent and inclusive governance

Tinglayan, Kalinga – The legislative council of the Municipal Government of Tinglayan affirmed its continued and harmonious working relationship with the executive branch, expressing full support for Mayor Charles Abay in his pursuit and commitment to sustaining a transparent, inclusive, and progressive municipality.

Vice Mayor Alexander Malasi delivered the message of support on October 20, during Mayor Abay’s presentation of his administration’s accomplishments in his first 100 days in office.

Malasi commended Mayor Abay’s consistency and initiatives in driving Tinglayan toward greater progress, as reflected in the implementation of various programs and projects across the municipality — from infrastructure and environmental protection to peace and order, health and social services, administrative reforms, governance, capacity building, and disaster preparedness.

“Dakami iti legislative ket full support kami iti plans and programs ni Mayor Abay tapnu adda iti harmonious working relationship between the executive and legislative para iti pagsayaatan iti constituents tayo ditoy Tinglayan,” he said.

In an interview, the vice mayor further expressed the Sangguniang Bayan’s commitment not only to work hand in hand with the mayor but also to continuously uphold their legislative role by crafting local laws that will address the needs and welfare of every iTinglayan.
