Want a digital version of your Philsys ID?

Tabuk City, Kalinga –To close the gap between the number of people who registered and the number of cards that have been delivered, Philippine Statistics Authority-Kalinga opened its Registration for the issuance of ePhilID Monday, October 24, 2022.

“Simula bukas (October 24, 2022) ay magbubukas na ang aming mga Registration Center para mag-isyu ng ePhilI,” announced the agency on Sunday, October 23.

The ePhilID, according to PSA, is the digital version of the PhilID which is printed on a piece of paper.

Like the physical PhilID, the digital PhilID has security features and contains demographic data which include the person’s full name, sex, blood type, marital status, date and place of birth, 1×1 photo, residential address and a QR code with unique digital signature.

For those who already registered but did not claim their ID yet, they can make an appointment online. They may also do walk-ins at their registration centers.

To set an appointment, interested individuals can visit https://appt.philsys.gov.ph/ and enter their transaction reference number (TRN).

If their ePhilID is available, the public is asked to fill out all the required information, wait for a verification code sent to their mobile number and e-mail address, choose the registration center and set an appointment time in picking up their printed ePhilID.

After setting an appointment, they should make sure to download their appointment slip which will serve as the basis for getting their ePhilId on their appointment date.

“Para naman sa mga walk-in, magpunta lamang sa pinakamalapit na Registration Center sa inyong lugar at dalhin ang iyong Transaction Slip/Transaction Number at isang valid ID. Para sa listahan ng available na Registration Center dito sa Kalinga bisitahin lang ito: https://bit.ly/PhilSysRCs,” PSA-Kalinga stated.

As of September 30, 2022, 16,773 physical IDs are already delivered in the province.

Meantime, PSA said that even if the public already claimed their printed ePhilID, they are still allocated a physical PhilID card.
