These individuals will be choosing their barangay’s next set of leaders in 1,405 polling centers in the region.

In line with the upcoming village and youth polls, Cordillera Police Regional Director PBGen. David Peredo Jr. assured that the police, military, and other government agencies will work to ensure a peaceful, honest, and orderly election.

Forty barangays in Abra, meantime, have been recommended under the yellow category or areas of election concern.

Starting today, Oct. 27, the police in the country are on full alert wherein 187,600 police officers have been deployed in different areas nationwide to ensure the safety of voters and prevent any untoward incidents. The figure is 82.28% of the police force in the Philippines.
