11 new iKalinga lawyers share inspiring journey in Bar 2024 at Testimonial Dinner

Tabuk City, Kalinga – Kalinga sons and daughters who passed the Philippine Bar Examinations held in September 2024 shared their inspiring testimonies of triumphs and struggles at the Testimonial Dinner held on May 3, 2025, in Bulanao.

 

The new bearers of justice include Atty.Pearlyn Fabro and Atty. Isagani Dela Cruz of Rizal, Kalinga; Atty. Leizl Ludan of Tanudan; Atty. Chesed Munda and Atty. Leonardo Egcatan of Tabuk City; Atty. Maureen Bading of Balbalan; Atty. Chevrolette Alindayo of Lubuagan; Atty. Divina Semilla of Pinukpuk; Atty. Mike Hortelano; Atty. Jodea Abalos; and Atty. Michael Udan of Ifugao, but he finished his law degree in Kalinga.

 

During the event which was initiated by the Integrated Bar of the Philippines (IBP) Kalinga Chapter, the young lawyers took turns in sharing their journey in passing the bar, getting their license to serve not just the Cordilleran community but to others needing legal assistance or services.

 

Among the people who personally graced the activity included some esteemed faces in the legal community, like Hon. Randy Bulwayan, Presiding Judge of RTC Branch 39 in Lubuagan; Hon. Jerson Angog, Presiding Judge of RTC Branch 25 in Tabuk City; Atty. Bartolome Gamonnac, IBP Kalinga Chapter President; and the Guest of Honor, Atty. Allan Panolong, IBP Executive Vice President and Governor for Western Mindanao, among others.

 

The event wrapped up with celebratory dances and socializing among the lawyers, judges, and guests.
