125TH PCSA Pre-culminating Celebration: Government services, job opportunities made available on Sept. 29

Tabuk City, Kalinga – Residents of Kalinga availed various government services and were given the chance to get hired during the province’s pre-culminating celebration of the 125th Philippine Civil Service Anniversary on Monday, September 29.

This one of the series of Serbisyo Caravan which was done in various towns in Kalinga Province to reach out to the under-served communities and bring the basic services and aid to the people.

Held at the Kalinga Astrodome on said date, the event was graced by Governor James Edduba, who expressed gratitude to the participating national line agencies and establishments for bringing their services and employment closer to the people.

Among the services rendered were licensing by Professional Regulation Commission (PRC), scholarship applicationn by Department of Science and Technology (DOST), issuance of Philippine National Police Police Clearance, and free legal consultation by the IBP - Kalinga, among others.

There was also a bloodletting activity conducted by the Philippine Red Cross Kalinga Chapter, a job fair by the Provincial Public Employment Service Office, army recruitment, and more.

Throughout this September, the PCSO celebration in Kalinga has brought Serbisyo Caravan to its seven municipalities and city, ensuring accessible government services are given to every iKalingas.

The caravan on September 29 alone, according to the Kalinga Information Office, benefited nearly one thousand residents in the province.
