18-yr.-old rider dies in road accident on All Soul’s Day in Tabuk City

Tabuk City, Kalinga – An 18-year-old man, in spite of efforts to revive him, did not survive his injuries following a road crash on All Soul’s Day in Tabuk City, Kalinga.

 

While on alert to ensure a safe and orderly ‘Undas’ commemoration in the city, authorities from the Bureau of Fire Protection in Tabuk City drove 21 kilometers to Barangay Balawag to respond to a vehicular traffic accident past 4:00 p.m on November 2, 2025.

 

Arriving at the scene, the BFP found the 18-year-old victim who is a resident of Paligatto, Balawag unconscious and no pulse. Further assessment on the victim revealed that there were blood coming out from his ears, nose, mouth and there were lacerations on the right side of his head, chin, and left knee. The victim likewise suffered deformity on his left leg.

 

The responding BFP personnel conducted chest compressions, administered supplemental oxygen, immobilized affected area, and conducted bandaging and bleeding control on the victim.

 

The 18-year-old was rushed to the Kalinga Provincial Hospital. Unfortunately, in spite of the efforts of the attending physician to revive him, the victim succumbed to his injuries.
