Baguio City, Philippines – The two minors who were caught sniffing rugby in Baguio City have been reunited to their parents in La Union recently, the Baguio City Public Information Office reported.

The boys were said to have been found loitering and inhaling rugby at Burnham Park last October 10, 2022.

After the incident was reported to authorities, the two were brought to the Silungan Center where they were taken care of. The two claimed to be from Agoo, La Union.

The boys said that they came to Baguio City on October 8 to work as baggage carriers.

The information led the Office of the City Social Welfare and Development to coordinate with the Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office of Agoo. However, they were not able to locate the boys’ families.

Using the information given by the boys to the authorities that they are 4Ps beneficiaries, the OCSWD checked the data base where they found out that the minors are from Caba, La Union and not Agoo.

The boys were then escorted to Caba MSWD. Earlier, the OCSWD assisted in taking elderly vagrant in the city to his relative. The senior citizen who was found wandering the streets in Baguio City was transported back to San Fernando City, Pampangang on October 11.
