Tabuk City, Kalinga – The search for the next Binibining Pilipinas 2024 is on, and two beauties from Cordillera have their eyes set on the crown.
After making it in the final closed-door screening, 40 dazzling ladies from all over the country were presented as official candidates and were sashed with the province and city they represent in the competition.
Among these 40 beauty queens include Binibini 1, Marikit Manaois of Baguio City and Binibini 40, Myrna Esguerra of Abra.
Manaois who was crowned Aliwan Fiesta Digital Queen 2022, in one of her online interviews, expressed that the things she is looking forward to in her journey to Binibining Pilipinas include sisterhood and being empowered even more.
“I am looking forward for sisterhood, to witness the sisterhood in Binibining Pilipinas and more so I’m looking forward for a Marikit who will transform into an even more empowered woman,” she said.
Esguerra who was crowned Miss Abra 2023, meanwhile, looked back and realized how far a ‘small town girl’ has come, saying who would have thought that that girl will be capable of being one of the Binibining Pilipinas candidates.
“I’m here to remind you that dreams do come true, and it's possible because of the love of the people who continuously extend their hand whenever I need them,” she wrote.
Binibining Pilipinas 2024 will be held in June at the New Frontier Theater in Araneta City.
