One of the entries of the Province of Kalinga, represented by Provincial Tourism Officer Lorraine Ngao-I, includes the Lumin-Awa Trek II held in Tanudan on February 7-10, 2024.

The Lumin-Awa Trek II, one of the highlights of the 2024 Bodong Festival, convened 131 adventurers in the country in a 4-day journey, exploring the breathtaking natural wonders in Tanudan, including the Mt. Binaratan or the Silent Mountain.

With the recognition, Tanudan Municipal Tourism Officer Aurie Mae Banson acknowledged the efforts of stakeholders who worked together for the success of the event, particularly Barangays Taloctoc, Mangali, Lubo, Ga-ang, and Dacalan, whose active participation made the experience even richer and immersive for the participants.

Mayor Jaedicke Rhoss Dagadag, meantime, expressed his appreciation to all of the people who in one way or another provided help – from the provincial government, to the Tanudan LGU, down to the different communities, saying, if they had not joined the effort, the event would not turn out that successful.
