Governor James S. Edduba announced the planned improvements during the provincial government’s flag-raising ceremony on October 19, 2026 at the Kalinga Sports Center.

The final cost of the air-conditioning project and any additional funding needed will depend on the remaining work and project requirements.

Edduba stressed that provincial properties must be protected and that sectoral funds should be directed toward provincial assets. He added that other proposed projects should be assessed based on their potential to generate income and provide returns that could help sustain government programs and activities.

The planned improvements are intended to enhance provincial facilities while ensuring that public funds support essential infrastructure and the delivery of government services.
