23-yr.-old suspected pusher, selling illegal drugs to students in Balbalan arrested

Tabuk City, Kalinga – A young man accused of supplying illegal drugs in Balbalan fell into the hands of the police after a search at his residence in Purok 6, Bulanao on Wednesday, November 19.


According to the Kalinga Police Provincial Office, the suspect whose name was not revealed has been supplying students in Balbalan with illegal drugs.


The police, armed with a search warrant from the Regional Trial Court Branch 25, proceeded to the suspect’s house to search for contraband. The operation later resulted into the confiscation of multiple sachets and a plastic container containing substance believed to be shabu. The confiscated contraband was estimated to be 2 grams and are worth P13, 600.


The joint operatives of Balbalan and Tabuk City likewise recovered drug paraphernalia from the residence. With the pieces of evidence confiscated, the 23-year-old was arrested.


After the recovered pieces of evidence were inventoried with witnesses from the DOJ, media, and barangay, the items and the suspect were brought to the Tabuk City Police Station for proper documentation and filing of charges.
