3 among PNPA graduates are yTinglayans

Tinglayan, Kalinga – The local government of Tinglayan congratulated on Tuesday, April 23, three yTinglayans who are among 233 graduates of this year’s Philippine National Police Academy (PNPA) "Layag-Diwa" Class.

These graduates include Jeremy Valens Esteban, 24; Cathy Anne Longey, 25; and Xandise Fokleg, 22.

The trio hurdled the four-year cadetship training program and following these hardships, they were able to graduate on Friday, April 19, at Camp General Mariano Castañeda in Silang, Cavite.

Esteban and Fokleg are among 198 cadets who will join the Philippine National Police after graduating from the academy while Longey plans to become part of the Bureau of Fire Protection.

In a statement, Tinglayan Mayor Sacrament Gumilab commended the yTinglayan graduates, underscoring that their feat, along with their commitment to serving and protecting the country is truly inspiring.

Their achievement, he added, shall also serve as inspiration to their fellow yTinglayan youth that they might also consider becoming one not just to uplift their families’ status but to be of service to their fellowmen.

“We wish you all the best as you embark on this noble journey in law enforcement. Tinglayan stands behind you every step of the way,” he concluded.
