300 yTanudan hired through DOLE- TUPAD start work


Tanudan, Kalinga―The 300 yTanudan beneficiaries started their 15-day work today, June 08, under the Tulong Panghanapbuhay sa Ating Disadvantaged/Displaced Workers (TUPAD) program of Department of Labor Employment (DOLE).


This began following an orientation for the TUPAD program for the selected displaced workers. DOLE-Kalinga Head Avelina Manganip and Local Government of Tanudan represented by Municipal Indigenous People Mandatory Representative (IPMR) Grace Dagadag led the activity.

Mayor Jaedicke Rhoss Dagadag represented by Municipal IPMR Grace Dagadag commends the allocation of DOLE fund for the municipality since it has provided job and income for the workers affected by the pandemic.


Furthermore, she conveyed how the selection process of the recipients was done from the barangay to their Public Employment Service Office (PESO) Manager and to the office of the Mayor, which were then forwarded to the DOLE.

18 individuals were hired from each of the 16 barangays in Tanudan.


The individuals will render 4 hours a day work for 15 days for the PhP5,250.00 pay.


Beneficiaries may work for social and economic community project, Agro-forestry community project, provision of assistance to the LGU, transport services for setting up mobile markets, and disinfections/ sanitation of community or public facilities.
