36-yr.-old man found injured in a canal in New Tanglag, Tabuk City

Tabuk City, Kalinga – A 36-year-old man was rushed by the authorities to the hospital after he was found injured at a canal Friday morning, April 18, in New Tanglag, Tabuk City.

 

Based on information shared to GURU Press Cordillera by the Bureau of Fire Protection Tabuk City, the man identified as Hassan Banatao of Dagupan Weste was found lying in an empty canal while his motorcycle was on the road, indicating he fell due to a self-inflicted accident.

 

The BFP personnel who responded to the incident found the man conscious but with injuries. He had multiple abrasions on his upper and lower extremities, back, and right shoulder, and lacerations on his right eyebrow and forehead.

 

The victim was given first aid before he was transported to the Kalinga Provincial Hospital for further medical intervention.
