38-yr.-old man in Isabela dies after his motorcycle crashed against pick-up truck

Echague, Isabela - A 38-year-old businessman in Isabela died on Monday, August 5, after his motorcycle hit a pick-up vehicle he was following.

 

The casualty, whose name was withheld by the police, was a resident of Barangay Aromin, Echague.

 

According to a police report, the victim was on board a Honda Click 125 motorcycle.  He was traversing the road in Barangay Annafunan in said municipality when his vehicle suddenly hit the rear part of a Mitsubishi pick-up he was following.

 

The victim sustained severe injuries due to the force of the impact. Members of the Echague rescue team rushed him to a medical facility, but he was not able to survive.

 

Meanwhile, the pick-up driver, a 66-year-old farmer, was not injured in the incident.

 

He was not charged after he promised to provide cash assistance to the victim’s family as part of their settlement.
