4 graduates of ISU-Ilagan topnotchers in 2023 Registered Master Electrician board exam

Isabela, Philippines – Four graduates of Isabela State University – Ilagan Campus emerged as topnotchers in the April 2023 Registered Master Electrician (RME) board examination, based on the result released by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) on Wednesday, May 03.

As announced, 986 out of 2,336 or 42.21 percent passed the said board exam held on April 25 and 26, 2023.

Garnering an overall rating of 95 percent, Kenneth Christian Tolentino Guiwo made it to Top 1, while Robin Ramos Pauig with 92.50 rating ranked fourth.

Gimie Gumbi Tuppil (90 percent) and Jessica Hernandez Sapo (89.50 percent) secured Top 9 and Top 10 spots, respectively.

The institution’s passing rate is at 69.23 percent, beating the 42.21 percent national passing rate. Its first time takers registered 72.73 percent rating. Only 50 percent retakers passed.

This is the first time that the university was able to produce Top 1 in said board exam since 2015.
