Tabuk City, Kalinga – Using their own hard-earned money, the Cordillera police batch 2015-02 marked their anniversary in the uniformed service by providing assistance to four economically challenged individuals who have medical conditions.

This is unexpected to the four individuals in the province who have been suffering from some medical conditions, making their life difficult for a long time.

The Panabak and Matagila Class 2015-02 celebrated their 7th year in the police service through an outreach activity in Rizal and Tabuk City on August 3, 2022.

Police Corporal Jeriam Mabiasan said their batch decided to contribute some amount from their wages to extend assistance to four people who could barely sustain their medical needs.

This, she added, is their small way of sharing what they have with other people, especially those in far-flung places.

Their beneficiaries were Reysita Pagarigan, Dave Labacco, and siblings Cheryl and Javi Gamon.

She said they first visited Reysita Pagarigan, a 16-year-old resident of Santor, Rizal, who was diagnosed with Congenital Heart Disease.

The team of police provided her family with grocery items and covered her maintenance medicine for six months.

The next beneficiary is 10-year-old John Dave Labacco who lives in a remote sitio in Gobgob, Tabuk City. The kid is said to have Cerebral Palsy. He was given a new wheelchair along with grocery items.

Likewise, two siblings in Barangay Gobgob, Cheryl and Jayvi Gamon, were provided with grocery items and cash assistance.

Cheryl, who is 20 years old, has dwarfism and epilepsy, while Jayvi, 5, has Cerebral Palsy.

Mabiasan noted that the two siblings are in need of medical intervention, but their single father, Danny, has limited resources.

Should anyone want to extend further help to these four individuals, you may contact the Class President, PCpl Allan Paul Dangani, at 09503900472.
