Tuguegarao City, Cagayan – One can tell that five nursing graduates of a university in Tuguegarao City woke up on May 6 and 7, not just to get their licenses, but also to engrave their names on the list of top performing board examinees.

This is after their names appeared a week later in the Top 10 list of the May 2024 Philippine Nurse Licensure Exam (NLE).

These topnotchers who are graduates of Saint Paul University Philippines (SPUP) – Tuguegarao City are Jim Jerico Cedric Uy who secured the 2nd top spot, next to the nursing graduate from Cavite; Erika Joy Nortado who landed in Top 6; Rosita Tanio, Top 9; and Daphne Marl Louis Aquino and Czarina Jose who are both in Top 10.

Apart from these five, the rest of the university alumni who took the May 2024 NLE brought glory to their alma mater after bringing the institution to the list of top-performing schools in said board exam.

SPUP was named top 4 performing university after the 170 takers delivered a 98.24% passing rate.

“Greetings to your parents, teachers and loved ones as well,” the university who commended the new batch of nurses captioned a Facebook post.
