Atok, Benguet reopens for tourists on March 8

Benguet, Philippines - To help the people of Atok recover from losses caused by the pandemic, the municipality will officially reopen its tourism sites and activities starting March 8.


The Mayor’s Office of the Local Government Unit of Atok revealed this on their February 16 press release.

In an advisory issued by Mayor Raymundo Sarac through the Philippine Information Agency Benguet, he stated that tourism activities shall be allowed except on Mondays and Fridays.


To assure the safety of the community, visitors have to undergo interview and pre-registration at the triage and registration area which will be established at Km.22, Caliking, Atok Benguet.

The reopening of tourism was decided after Benguet was placed under Alert Level 2 status from February 16 to 28, 2022.


The place is known for the breathtaking scenery of the Northern Blossom Flower Farm, Our Lady of Lourdes Grotto, Haight’s Place (Sakura Park), Spanish trail, Mt. Timbak, and Highest Point that tourists love to visit.
