‘Baguio City police "Most Disciplined Cops"’ – PLt.Gen. Vicente Danao Jr.

Updated: Jul 6, 2022

Baguio City, Philippines – The Baguio City police have been praised by the country’s top cop for their dedication in service, hailing them as the 'Most Disciplined Cops’.

Police Lieutenant General Vicente Danao Jr. commended the Baguio police force in a command conference at Camp Crame in Quezon City last week of June, saying, ‘Baguio’s finest are the most disciplined cops’.

Police Colonel Glenn Lonogan, in a video made by the PNP Cordillera, explained that the PNP chief observed and praised the deployment of police in Baguio City, adding that Danao was delighted about the police force’s visibility.

He likewise mentioned that the police in the city kept their smiles while directing traffic, even under the heat of the sun or even when it is raining.

The commendation, Lonogan conveyed, is a morale booster for the police officers.

“Sabi ko sa kanila paigtingin pa natin palagi para hindi masira yong paningin na yon na actually ang sabi ng chief PNP, dapat ito yong gayahin ng other units outside the Cordillera, yan yong gusto ko na makita na ginagawa ng kapulisan sa buong Pilipinas,” Lonogan said.

Lonogan assured the constituents of Baguio that the police will do much as far as maintaining the peace and order in the city is concerned.
