Baguio residents can now do self-test with antigen kit


Baguio City, Philippines – Baguio residents can now administer antigen test at home to check their health status amidst the rising Covid-19 cases in the country.


Antigen self-testing kits which cost P280 each can now be bought in six areas in the city, says Baguio City Public Information Office.


These places include Dontogan Barangay Hall; Asin Barangay Hall; near the Rotonda in Pacdal; Loakan-Apugan covered court; Irisan Multi-purpose Hall; and City Camp Central Barangay Hall.


According to the report of PIO Baguio, the kits can either be brought home or the health care workers can also be the one to administer the antigen test to the person.

The accomplished test should be submitted to the processing center within two hours with a proper label and container. As for the result, it may be given through a text message or it may be printed out.


All processes are said to be done within office hours.

Meantime, it could be recalled that Mayor Benjamin Magalong said that this self-testing is to immediately identify and isolate Covid-19 cases in Baguio.


Meanwhile, high number of Covid-19 cases in Baguio City were seen in Atab with 3,639 cases; Loakan, 3,144; City Camp, 3,074; Irisan, 2,326; Asin, 1,791; and Pacdal with 1,386.
